The above forms are provided by the Administrative Office of the Courts to Circuit Clerks for juror and witness compensation reporting. Circuit Clerks shall submit forms to JuryWitnessReports@ky.gov for Imprest Fund reimbursement.
Pursuant to KRS 31.185, the County Fees Branch serves as the administrator of the Department of Public Advocacy’s (DPA) Public Defender Fund which pays approved expenses incurred in the defense of the indigent. Please submit the Form AC-3 and all necessary attachments (i.e. uniform citation, body receipt, judge’s order, etc.) in a PDF and email to FIN.LocalGov@ky.gov.
Pursuant to KRS 133.240, the county clerk shall be allowed thirty cents ($0.30) for calculating the state, county, and school tax and preparing a tax bill for each individual taxpayer for the sheriff or collector under the provisions of KRS 133.220, and one dollar ($1) for each tax bill made in case of an omitted assessment. Once approved by the County Fiscal Court, the court shall order half paid out of the levy and the other half out of the State Treasury. The county clerk shall certify the allowance to the Finance and Administration Cabinet (via the County Fees Branch), and it will pay the County Clerk for the State Treasurer’s half.
Please submit the Department of Revenue’s Form 62A363 to
FIN.LocalGov@ky.gov in order for the County Fees Branch to pay the State Treasury’s portion to the County Clerk.
Pursuant to KRS 133.030(3), each board member shall be paid $100.00 for each day he serves. This compensation shall be paid half out of the county levy and the other half out of the State Treasury.

Sequestered Juror Reimbursements are processed per KRS 29A.180 and require the county sheriff or city police to be responsible for meals, housing, and other incidental needs of grand jurors and petit jurors in circuit and district court when the jurors are kept overnight or otherwise sequestered when ordered to do so by the judge of the court for which the jurors were summoned. The sheriff or police are also responsible for transportation expenses of jurors and other authorized persons to view crime scenes per KRS 29A.310, and any specialized security personnel, equipment, and services for the trial. The County Fees Branch reimburses expenses for up to twelve (12) jurors, two (2) alternate jurors, and two (2) guards.
