MWBE Certification

The Finance and Administration Cabinet is proud to host Kentucky’s first Minority and Women Business Enterprise Certification Program. The goal of the certification program is to encourage growth among Kentucky businesses owned by women and minorities and to assist those enterprises in locating and obtaining further commercial opportunities.

Transparency.ky.gov: Kentucky’s Transparency Website

Kentucky's Transparency website is a bipartisan, multi-agency effort to provide a more transparent, accountable state government, and allows citizens the opportunity to find out how their tax dollars are spent to move our state forward. This website provides information on budgets, contracts, state employee salaries and more.

The objective of the Small Business Connection program is to help link Kentucky's small businesses with buyers from government agencies and large businesses. Small Business Connection is a joint effort of the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development and the Kentucky Finance & Administration Cabinet.

Green Bank

The mission of the Green Bank of Kentucky is to promote energy efficiency in state buildings through competition for low interest loans to reduce operating costs, energy use, protect the environment, save taxpayer dollars, promote economic development, and create new “green collar” jobs by means of education, engineering analyses and building improvements.

The newly created Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Certification Program supports service-disabled military veterans who own a business and live in Kentucky. It is designed to promote growth among SDVOSBs and encourage these businesses to locate and expand in the Commonwealth.
