Kentucky Board of Social Work
The purpose of the Board of Social Work is to administer and enforce the statutory authority and to monitor the needs of the consuming public. The Board examines and licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession of Social Work. It recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The Board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 335.010 to 335.170.
Pocket renewal cards are no longer being issued and you may verify your license online.
Please be aware that it is your responsibility to keep the board notified of any address or name changes. Failure to do so may result in delays in the licensing process.

Individuals wishing to appear before the board must submit a written request to the board office no later than 10 days prior to the board meeting in order to be placed on the agenda.
