Donees Property Listing
Who is eligible to purchase these items? Any State Agency, County Government Agency, City Government Agency, Political Subdivision, a Non-profit organization recognized as such by the IRS under Section 501 (C) 3 (except Churches) is eligible to receive Federal Surplus property under 41 CFR 101-44.207 (C), as per BO-118-13-00, Section 3, Paragraph d. The above is qualified by the fact that many 501 (C) 3 non-profits are eligible for State Surplus property only. Only educational institutions or public welfare agencies qualify for Federal Surplus. Churches or other entities with religious affiliations may only qualify if they house a daycare or learning institution.
