KET awarded Green Bank of Kentucky loan Loan will provide energy efficient improvements for network center in Lexington FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Steve Beshear today announced that Kentucky Educational Television’s (KET) network center in Lexington has been awarded a loan of more than $1.8 million from the Green Bank of Kentucky program. With the low-interest loan, KET will implement energy efficiency and conservation measures. The money saved through reductions in energy and utility costs will be used to repay the loan. More

| Department of Education awarded Green Bank of Kentucky loan The Green Bank of Kentucky program announced the recipient of its first loan on Jan. 21, 2010. The Kentucky Department of Education will use the loan of nearly $1.3 million to make improvements and implement Energy Conservation Measures (ECM) to three of its facilities: Kentucky School for the Blind in Louisville, the Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville and the Future Farmers of America (FFA) Leadership Training Center in Hardinsburg.
