The Division of Surplus Property disposes of excess federal and state surplus property (two distinct programs with different rules and regulations) in the most cost efficient manner and in the best interest of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and its citizens. The Division promotes and facilitates sustainable reuse of personal surplus property to state, local governments, qualifying non-profits and the general public. |

The State Surplus Program provides State Disposal Services along with a central distribution warehouse location for state agencies, qualified Donees and the Public. The Division of Surplus Property State Program promotes sustainability by providing inter-agency transfers and savings for personal property needs of local governments and qualified nonprofits.
